Over the years we’ve been fortunate to meet collectors who truly appreciate the artwork we create. One of those collectors has been supporting our work for many years and has built an incredible personal collection.
Every now and then he would ask for edits on the artworks and would always asked if we made sketch covers. One day while in the comic book store, we saw a few blank covers and decided to give it a try. We did one before in 2018, and we explained that after doing that one, our techniques are not well suited for the texture and weight of the pages. Now, before you mention that it is good for all mediums, it is in fact not the case. The book turned out great, but even in the photos below you can see the tremendous bleed that occurs with our medium. We did the inside pages as well as the front/back.
